2021 Erie International Film Festival

We would like to thank every single Filmmaker who submitted their film to our Festival this year. Though there were hundreds of films submitted, all of which were phenomenal, please know that not every film can be accepted and screened.

If we should need any information from Filmmakers for their selected films, we will contact the Filmmaker via the email that was used at the time of submission.

As a special treat this year, and incelebration of our Orgaizations 20th Anniversary, all films in our virtual festival will be presented to the public at NO CHARGE and NO VIRTUAL TICKET FEE.

As a 501c(3) non-profit, the Erie International Film Festival celebrates new trends in digital media and recognizes Trans-media Filmmakers who employ an innovative, interactive, web-based or multi-platform approach to story creation, as well as traditional style films that will be presented to the public via state-of-the-art-technology.

The 2021 EIFF has gained a solid reputation from Filmmakers and film fans alike, as we always strive to ensure the highest standard of quality in our Festival.

Our festival introduces independent filmmakers the world over to Erie Pennsylvania, as our City embraces the arts and culture that the worldwide filmmaking community delivers with new stories, and new points of view.

Once they have been prepared, we encourage every Filmmaker to visit their film’s synopsis page to be sure that all of the information contained on it is correct. If there are any errors, please contact us detailing the name of your film, and the correct information, and we will make the changes without delay.

Most importantly, and as soon as the Virtual Theatre screenings begin, we also strongly encourage you to visit your film’s virtual screening room to ensure that you are happy with the virtual presentation of your film.

Not all films, but only the films that receive a Best Of Genre Award Nomination will be programmed into our live Festival event, and will screen theatrically.

Additionally, each year our Festival offers an Audience Award that is chosen by virtual attendees of our festival. Each attendee has the opportunity to watch as many films as each may like, and to cast ONLY one vote for what that attendee feels is most deserving of the 2021 Erie International Film Festival Audience Award.

We wish you all the best of luck in the Award judging, and a huge thank you to all Filmmakers selected for the privilege of allowing us to screen your films.

Thank you all once again, for being a part of the 2021 Erie International Film Festival, and we wish all of the Filmmakers the best of luck in the Official Selections process.

Have a great Festival….
